Wash it, condition it and then while it is still wet slick on a little hair lotion and some oil, braid it up............

if your head is too sensitive for a normal adult perm............

you "can" definately use a kiddie perm....

believe me....i know people who have been able to do this, normal perms burnt their head, and the kiddie perm was fine...

i find it hard to believe that your head would be more tender/delicate/sensative then a little childs head (lol)

If your doctor is telling you step away from the chemicals, you'd better take that advice. I would suggest going natural and getting rid of the chemicals. It is a challenge getting used to your original texture, but it may help your scalp. Maybe you can opt for braids or a full weave.

MY HAIR IS NAPPY TOO...I AINT GONE LIE! WHEN I WASH IT IT SHRINKS UP INTO A LITTLE AFRO...REAL CURLY AND NAPPY! MY HAIR IS PAST MY SHOULDER BLADES SO ITS SO HARD TO HANDLE! SO WHEN MY FINALLY FINISHES WASHING AND AND IT DRIES...I FLAT IRON IT AND ITS NOT NAPPY ANYMORE! I DONT GET PERMS AND I NEVER HAD A PERM!
