Boston fans: I know you always say, Ahh it's just Manny being Manny, but how do you really feel

This guy is a complete a$$ h#le! He is a discrace of the uniform, game, and anything else I can't think of. Tim McCarver, a 60+ year old announcer even wants to break his ribs.....so funny when he said that.....So tell me, is it hard to cheer for this guy? He's arguably one of the best hitters in the game, but do you think his attitude, on-the-field antics, base running and nappy hair out weigh the positives?

If Manny sacrificed a goat on an altar in downtown Boston at rush hour, some Red Sox fan would say, "that's just Manny being Manny". It's gotten old.

I think he just gets the job done but I must agree with you, he needs more dicipline off the field.

Manny being manny= coming 1 inch from hitting a 2 run home run, driving in what turned out to be the game winning RBI.

I don't care what he says or does, when he contributes he does so in a big way.

His "Manny being Manny" attitude gets to me a little bit but I watch the Sox all year not just once in awhile and some of the stuff he does gets blown waaaaaaayyyy out of proportion. He is an amazing hitter and he is a pretty good fielder with a cannon for an arm (if you don't believe he is a good fielder you can look up his stats...besides a couple bone-headed plays he is good defensively)...the only thing I really get bugged about is when he requests to get traded because I want this guy on the Sox until he retires.

I think he's a great player but he should try harder. He could have had a triple last night, but he only got to first base because he took his time getting to first base. He also could have scored at the plate by sliding rather than casually trotting toward the catcher.

He was right. If the Red Sox lose tomorrow night, people will be bummed out for awhile, but come Sunday morning, they will get up and go back to real life with a few hours more of fantasy as they watch the NFL.

Last year after losing the NBA playoffs, LaBron James (spelling?) said, "it's just basketball. It's not life." and he was right too.

despite he annoyed me that he stopped running at first yesterday during that homerun controversy thing. but he still is a very hard working player and it pays off

In my opinion, when he said that some was the truth. There is always next year, BUT I didn't think he cares enough to try hard against the Indians. Yes, that's Manny being Manny but he's not looking on the positive side right now like the fans and rest of the team. I know what its like for someone on a team to try their hardest and end up failing then realizing they don't stand a chance. I know someone on the Nationals team and he felt the same way. But I think if the Red Sox can beat the Indians at Fenway, he will be eating his words.

Tim McCarver is a moron. He is the worst to have on the playoffs and world series. Manny on the other hand is a great player who has a personality that you and your goof ball McCarver don't like . "Nappy Hair" get you down???

The thing that amazes me the most about Manny is if he is not the hardest, but one of the hardest working players on that team. He has a rigorous offseason workout program and is one of the first people in the park each day to do a work out. You would think all that hard work would roll over to him huslting on the field. The dude is a manchild. When he talks, we all know he is going to say something stupid. That is why he never talks. The media wants it both ways. If he doesn't talk they get pissed, If he does talk, they scrutinize every word. The only thing I hate about Manny is his lack of hustle on certain plays. It seems when he does something silly, it comes in bunches. All season this guy has been hustling and making tough plays. All of a sudden, now, in the playoffs he has decided to revert back to the old Manny. No clue why. I will still take his 30-40 hr's and 100 rbi's over his few flareups a year. I could care less about his hair. He is a free spirited guy. I mean, we could say the same about CC Sabathia fat belly hanging over every time he pitches. I swear the dude is going to fall over everytime he lets go of the ball. It's just who they are...as long as they show results, we sometimes have to look the other way on their personalities. Not to mention, Manny is popular with his teammates, so he is doing something right.

He could have easily lost the series for them last night by playing umpire on his ball that hit the top of the fence. He should have been at least on 2nd base and in scoring position.

If I was his manager I would be furious with him.

Must be a Indian or Yankee fan lol...funny how ppl pick on his hair...is that the best ammo you have?

Boston fans: I know you always say, Ahh it's just Manny being Manny, but how do you really feel?

my only problem with Manny is that he doesnt hustle sometimes. when he thinks he hit a triple he takes his time getting to first base...and then all the sudden the outfeild has the ball and his amazing hit just turned into a single! anythin else he does is A-OK with me because hes a great asset to the team

Boston fans: I know you always say, Ahh it's just Manny being Manny, but how do you really feel?

I like him and his skills, but a little effort coming out of the box could make him a better player instead of hitting 360' singles. Imagine how he could play if he had any passion for the game and gave a damn. That being said, I wouldn't want him playing for someone else.

But if I pitched against him and he stood at the plate with his hands up after hitting a long ball, the next time up I'd break his ribs with fastball high and tight. He's disrespectful and everyone knows it. Even Sox fans.

i think manny is an idiot he is not an entertainer he is a baseball player its the mlb not a circus,if it was he'd be your clown in the center ring!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
