Split ends. Ethnic/mixed hair.?
-Have your hair trimmed at least once every 6 - 8 weeks.
-Be careful, not to use flat irons, curling irons and hair dryers on very high heat settings.
-Try not to use flat irons, curling irons %26amp; hair dryers, daily.
-Use protein enriched conditioners, preferably salon brands not drug store brands. (drug store brands are full of wax)
-Use styling products that contain thermal heat protective ingredients to protect your hair from heat damage when you do use irons %26amp; dryers.
-Chemical services such as relaxers, perms and haircolor can be a bit drying to the hair. If you get chemical services, it's important to use salon brand shampoos, conditioners and have your ends trimmed, frequently.

Condition your hair, don't bleach or iron or relax it... and even after all those measures it may still split!

maybe get some leave in conditioner, and put it on ur ends.
Split ends. Ethnic/mixed hair.?
get a conditioner with damage controller and intense moisturizer
brush your hair with a fine tooth comb before using a brush
and don't use a straightener if you can help it
Split ends. Ethnic/mixed hair.?
try not to straighten it.
but if you have to, put some kind of heat protection on your hair like Chi Silk Infusion, Redken Smooth Down, Biosilk: Silk Therapy Serum or Nexxus Heat Protexx.
invest in a good straightener because cheap ones can really mess up your hair.
use a good hydrating shampoo and conditioner like Herbal Essences Hello Hydration.
split ends may be lessened if you get your hair trimmed when you start noticing them.
hope this helps :]

I think there is no way of preventing split ends. I don't use heat on my hair or use any chemicals. I always moisturize and use leave-in conditioners and I still get split ends.

Pay the money to have it professionally done. Or go to sepora and ask them to help you with products for your hair

A good moisturizer and conditioner (alcohol free) is key to protecting your hair against split ends. As well as using a heat protector when you use any type of heat on your hair. The best way to prevent split ends in your hair is to wrap your hair at night. You should be wrapping your hair in a silk or satin scarf. This prevents the loss of moisture in your hair while you sleep, which can lead to dry and brittle ends and encourage split ends. Also you should use a wide tooth comb with rounded tips and a brush with firm but flexible rounded. I know from personal experience. I have the same type of hair. Hopefully this hurts.
