Hair Help??

i just washed my hair yesterday..i blow dryed it and curled it and wrapped it. But my roots are nappy.

should i hot comb it or just let it be i dont want to damage my hair (I get a perm in 25 days)

Hair Help??

well maybe you should get a blow dryer that has a attavhable comb at the end hun that will make it less nappier

Hair Help??

UMMMMM just let it be sometimes you should just moisterize it not with water but with a nice moisterizer.

Hair Help??

keep braiding it until you get your perm it will protect your hair better and it wont feel so nappy because it's braided. If youe hotcomb it and get a pirm it will fall out ....hang in there....

Hair Help??

I have the same problem. First you should grease your har. If your roots are so puffy that you hair wont stay down blowdry it.

Hair Help??

I would say that you could hot comb it, but try to use the lowest heat possible... You might consider trying to re-roll your ends by dampening them with a 50/50 mixture of a leave in conditioner (a good one would be: Organics Shea Butter Softening Hair and Scalp Lotion, available at Sallys Beauty Supply for about $5) and water, then wrapping them around a "sponge curler" or "magnetic/smooth curler" and letting them dry naturally. I would try that before hot combing it, if that doesn't work, then hot comb.....lol, then baby your hair to get ready for your perm.

Hair Help??

If you have that fine, tight wavy hair, you could try to FLAT iron from the roots, but i would take great caution when using a hot comb in relaxed hair...you don't want (extra) breakage...also, you might want to spend a little more attention to your roots when blow-drying it and curling it, just again please be careful since your hair is so sensitive at the point where your natural and relaxed hair meet. other than that, invest in a good ponytail or rod set and wait for your next touch-up.
